Did You Know Marley Resort & Spa
In 1976, legendary Reggae singer/songwriter Bob Marley and his wife Rita discovered this former governor's mansion, which sits on a perfect powder soft beach in Nassau. The Marleys used this as their family vacation home for many years. In 2004, Rita planned to renovate it to accommodate their growing family, but decided to turn the home into a resort for others to enjoy as the Marleys did for so many years. Rooms are designed with a feng shui aesthetic and decorated with African and Caribbean art and furnishings brought back from Africa and from around the Caribbean by daughters Cedella and Stephanie.
