Goombay Summer Festival
Friday August 10
Noon – 8pm
Street party on Woodes Rogers Wharf (where the cruise ships dock in downtown Nassau).
Saturday August 11
Noon – 8pm
Beach party on Junkanoo Beach (across from the Nassau Palm Hotel near downtown Nassau) with live entertainment and lots of food.
Sunday August 12
2pm – 6pm
Features music, a gourmet food court and cash bars held on Bay Street near Rawson Square.
17th Annual International Cultural Festival
October 20 – 21
10am – 6pm
The International Cultural Festival will have more than 100 booths, representing countries from around the world. In addition to indigenous food and drink, plus arts and crafts from the featured countries, there will also be demonstrations of culture, music and dance. The festivities will be held at The Botanical Gardens in Nassau.
Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children.
14th Annual Bahamarts Festival
BahamArts Festival is a unique display of arts, crafts, music and food, displayed at more than 100 booths. The festival will be held at Heritage Village at Arawak Cay.

Saturday October 27
2pm – 7pm
The Victory of the Bands, competing for the title of the best band.

Sunday October 28
Gala Tea Party featuring food and entertainment and, of course, tea. Tickets for the Tea Party are $10.00 per person. Closing out the festivities is a Grand Gospel Concert.

The Miami to Nassau Race Week is a historical race that has attracted some of the best sailors in the world. At Montague Beach, sailors seek the prestigious Miami to Nassau Ocean Cup with the world’s finest skippers on some of the world’s famous racing boats.

Bahamas Speed Week Revival 2012
November 24 – December 02
Bahamas Speed Week is a series of vintage automobile races held in Nassau where internationally acclaimed drivers from around the globe attend to compete, but more importantly, to soak in the backdrop of sun, sea and scorching hot cars.
This year’s event will feature roughly $100 million worth of iconic cars over the five-day period. Legendary British racing driver Sir Stirling Moss has accepted the invitation to attend as the first patron.

The Bahamas International Film Festival is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing the local Bahamian community and international visitors with a diverse presentation of films from around the world.
Marathon Bahamas 2013

Marathon Bahamas is part of the Sunshine Insurance Race Weekend, which will feature an event for every fitness level – a marathon, half marathon, 4-person relay and the Susan G. Komen Bahamas Race for the Cure 5K.
The scenic, relatively flat and furiously fast course of the marathon showcases the best of what our destination has to offer. You will have a tour through history while running in downtown Nassau, then over the Paradise Island bridge and back, heading to the northern shore of Cable Beach for a spectacular oceanfront finish at Arawak Cay.
