It’s Better in The Bahamas: Ashley’s Best Beach Vacation

Posted by: Nassau Paradise Island on May 7, 2016

Swim in the exquisite blue waters of Nassau Paradise Island, The BahamasThe first time you visit Nassau Paradise Island, you’ll probably be amazed at the color of the water. Vibrant shades of turquoise, aqua, and royal blue stretch as far as the eye can see and the effect is stunning. In fact, one of the comments we frequently hear about our crystal-clear waters is that photos don’t do them justice. We’re inclined to agree!

Ashley enjoyed a stay at Atlantis Paradise Island in February with her fiancé and says the beautiful, brilliant blue water of The Bahamas was her favorite thing about her vacation.

“It’s just as beautiful as it looks in photos. I had never seen water that shade of blue before and it’s so clear,” Ashley recalls.

Swimming, snorkeling, and plenty of basking on the beach were the highlights of Ashley’s Bahamas agenda. “We spent almost every day at the beach from morning to night,” she adds.

With an average of 300 days of sunshine a year and water temperatures hovering around a very pleasant 80 degrees, flawless beach days abound in Nassau Paradise Island. Enjoy a long stroll on the powdery-white sand, kick back on the beach with a great book or your favorite tunes, and cool off with a dip in the sea – there’s truly no better way to relax, unwind, and escape from everyday worries and cares. And since most of our hotels and resorts are located either on the beach or just steps away, you’ll never be far from the water.

Ashley and her fiancé are already planning their honeymoon in Nassau Paradise Island for next year, so it won’t be long until she’s back in that gorgeous turquoise sea! We can’t wait to see you again, Ashley!

We’d love to hear about your experience in Paradise too! If you’ve visited Nassau Paradise Island, tell us about it and you could be featured on our blog next week. And if not, start planning your Bahamas vacation today! Check out our latest travel deals and get ready to discover why beaches are better in The Bahamas.
