It’s Better in The Bahamas: Catherine’s Perfect Day

Posted by: Nassau Paradise Island on August 20, 2016

Woman and friends at the Atlantis CasinoWith miles upon miles of beautiful beaches, an abundance of outdoor water activities, and new adventures around every corner, there’s something for everyone in The Bahamas. But with so many amazing activities, guests like Catherine find it “hard to name just one” favorite.

Catherine has been coming to The Bahamas since 1973 and absolutely loves Nassau Paradise Island. She says that “each visit is like coming home” and that she “can’t think of a place [she] would rather be.” After all these years, she still can’t choose just one experience, but she did share her perfect day in Paradise.

Staying at The Cove at the Atlantis Paradise Island, Catherine says that the “best way to start the day” is breakfast at Mosaic. With its endless options of custom-made cuisine, we can see why!

Next stop, enjoying the sunny skies of The Bahamas. With dozens of pools, rivers, and slides at Atlantis, there is something to suit every appetite for adventure. For Catherine, lounging on the Lazy River is at the top of her list, followed by escaping to “cabana number 8 at the pool” – an outdoor oasis with the “convenience of having a hot and cold shower, TV and, best of all, room for friends.”

After a day of fun in the sun, you’re bound to work up an appetite and on Nassau Paradise Island there are a variety of dining options. For Catherine, “dinner at the Bahamian Club can’t come soon enough!” Mixing Bahamian influences with familiar fare, it is the perfect place to get a taste of the island, and leaves Catherine raving that the “surf and turf is the best on the island.”

Catherine’s night continues at the Caribbean’s largest casino. With 75 table games and over 750 slot machines, Atlantis Casino is the ultimate hotspot for fun and games, and Catherine is “always lucky at the tables and the slots.” But the fun doesn’t stop there, “drinks and music at the Dragon Bar” are a must on her ideal day!

We can see why this amazing day has left Catherine “counting the days” until her next vacation on Nassau Paradise Island. What’s your favorite way to spend a day in Paradise? Share your experience with us and you could be featured in our next blog post.
