It’s Better in The Bahamas: Christina’s Winter Getaway
Posted by: Nassau Paradise Island on April 2, 2016
Chances are, you’ve spent the occasional chilly or cloudy afternoon daydreaming about being on a warm, sunny beach, sipping on a refreshing cocktail and feeling the sand between your toes. It’s no wonder The Bahamas is a popular vacation destination during the winter and spring months. After all, it feels like summer here all year round, so when you find yourself wishing for warmer weather, why not book a flight to Paradise?
For the past three years, Christina and her family have traveled to Nassau Paradise Island during the winter. This February, they stayed at Comfort Suites Paradise Island. Located just across the street from Atlantis Paradise Island, guests at Comfort Suites are able to access Atlantis’ beaches and activities.
“We were able to visit the Atlantis resort and it was beautiful with so much to do,” Christina says.
“The beaches are really amazing and the water color is just incredible, just like in photos.”
Christina recommends snorkeling to other visitors to Nassau Paradise Island. There are plenty of places where you can learn to snorkel and dive here in The Bahamas, and you don’t need any prior experience to take part.
“(Snorkeling) was easy to pick up even though I’m not a strong swimmer,” Christina adds.
The family is already thinking about next year’s vacation to Nassau Paradise Island. “I’ve thought about going somewhere else for our winter vacation but don’t really want to. We have found the perfect place!” Christina says.
