It’s Better in The Bahamas: Jacey’s Girls’ Getaway in Paradise
Posted by: Nassau Paradise Island on April 11, 2015
What’s more fun than getting together with a group of girlfriends and hitting the road for a weekend away? We’ve got the answer: spending a week in Nassau Paradise Island! Just a short flight from many major cities, it’s easy to get here, and once you arrive, it’s nonstop fun around the clock. Relax on the beach, dine in world-class restaurants, indulge in some well-deserved pampering in the spa – you and your friends will create lifelong memories.
Just ask Jacey, who traveled to Nassau Paradise Island with a friend for a girls’ trip in September 2014. They stayed at The Reef Atlantis and spent their vacation soaking up memorable Bahamian experiences, such as a Powerboat Adventures tour.
“It was quite the experience,” Jacey recalls. “We fed iguanas, then saw the sharks and fed a stingray. I was amazed at the sharks. Feeding the stingray was so cool – we lined up on our knees in the water, put some fish between our fingers, and the ray swam over and sucked up the fish. I would recommend that day trip to everyone.”
Jacey adds that during the tour, the guides on the island made fresh conch salad for the group. It was just one of many excellent meals she enjoyed in Nassau Paradise Island.
“There is no shortage of great places to eat! I liked Arawak Cay Fish Fry the best – truly great food.”
Jacey and her friend took in the Aquaventure water park at Atlantis, which she says is great for all ages, and of course they spent plenty of time relaxing on the powdery white sand beaches.
“There are many things I love about The Bahamas. The people make you feel so welcome and at home. I feel very safe there. I have no trouble traveling around myself.”
