What makes Nassau Paradise Island such a great family-friendly destination? The weather certainly doesn’t hurt – with an average of 300 sunny days each year, fun in the sun is a guarantee. Friendly people, delicious food, some of the best beaches in the world, and luxurious accommodations are also part of the equation. But we think that the activities and attractions offered are a big part of what makes Nassau Paradise Island perfect for families.
With so much to do, everyone in the family will have a great time. Whether you’re an adventure-seeker or have a more laid-back personality, there’s something fun waiting for you in The Bahamas.
Kristie and her family have visited Nassau Paradise Island twice, in 2013 and 2014, staying at Coral Towers at Atlantis Paradise Island. Between the two visits, they’ve experienced plenty of The Bahamas’ best excursions and activities.
When asked about what activity she’d recommend to others, Kristie had a hard time picking just one thing. “Powerboat Adventures, Dolphin Encounters,Stuart Cove’s, and of course Atlantis – the (river rapids) were our favorite!” she says.
The most memorable part of the Powerboat Adventures excursion for Kristie and her family was snorkeling through Ship Channel Cay, which she says was “full of marine life, sharks and rays.” She loved the fresh conch salad that was served during the excursion. “It was a day trip of fun, start to finish.”
Kristie and her family also admired the sparkling turquoise waters of The Bahamas. “The water is the prettiest colors you’ve ever seen. It’s beautiful,” she recalls.
“We went two years in a row and can’t wait to go back!”
We can’t wait to see you and your family back in Paradise, Kristie! With great travel deals, it’s a perfect time to book your next getaway to Nassau Paradise Island.
