It’s Better in The Bahamas: Lindsay’s Spring Escape

Parliament Square police officer C5A3200It’s always summer here in The Bahamas, but if you happen to live somewhere that experiences wintery weather each year, the arrival of spring is always a welcome event. We can’t think of a better way to celebrate the change of seasons than an end-of-winter escape to Paradise – and Lindsay agrees!

In April, Lindsay and a group of friends traveled to Nassau Paradise Island. “It was a nice way to celebrate the end of a very long New England winter!” she says.

Lindsay and her friends stayed at Royal Towers at Atlantis Paradise Island, and Lindsay says the variety of activities and attractions at the resort were ideal for a group traveling together.

“It was fun staying at a resort with so much to do onsite. You can spend every day having a totally different experience,” she says.

One of Lindsay’s favorite experiences took place off the resort property, however. Lindsay and her friends competed in the Nassau City Seeker tour, a scavenger hunt that has participants race against the clock to some of downtown Nassau’s top destinations and sights and just one of the many unique tours available in Nassau Paradise Island.

“(The scavenger hunt) was a great way to become familiar with downtown Nassau very quickly,” Lindsay recalls. “Afterward we walked around the city and did some shopping and had a drink. We loved discovering the ‘real’ Bahamas off the resort.”

Winter may be fast approaching, but here in Paradise, it’s summer every day. Join us in Nassau Paradise Island and discover how The Bahamas is a perfect getaway any season of the year!
