It’s Better in The Bahamas: Niki’s Underwater Discoveries

Stuart Cove shark dive If you love snorkeling, or if you’ve always wanted to give it a try, you’ve got to check out Nassau Paradise Island! We’re located on the Tongue of the Ocean and along the shallows of the Great Bahama Bank, which makes for some of The Bahamas’ very best snorkeling and diving opportunities. Here, you can explore shipwrecks, coral reefs, and the famous Lost Blue Hole. Spot colorful tropical fish and marine animals and discover an underwater world that’s just as beautiful as what’s above the surface!

In August, Niki and her family traveled to Nassau Paradise Island for a family vacation. They stayed at Paradise Harbor Club & Marina and spent their vacation enjoying the best of what Nassau Paradise Island has to offer – especially the snorkeling!

Niki says her favorite experience from the trip was diving with the reef sharks at Stuart Cove’s. During the Extreme Shark Adventure, participants get up close and personal with reef sharks with a free swim before an underwater viewing of the sharks’ feeding time! If you’d rather keep your distance, Stuart Cove’s offers plenty of snorkeling and diving experience, including a beginner’s Learn to Dive program.

According to Niki, everything in Nassau Paradise Island was just as great on dry land, too. “Everything was amazing! The weather, the beautiful water and sands at Cabbage Beach, the vegetation, Da Fish Fry, the Straw Market, the friendly locals and the drinks in coconuts on the beach!” she says when asked about which experiences she enjoyed.

Niki says anyone looking for a fun family vacation should consider Nassau Paradise Island. “It is a must do for a family vacation! Very beautiful – most amazing experience of my life!”
