Hammock on beachIf Nassau Paradise Island is famous for one thing, it’s got to be our beaches. Powdery white sand stretching for miles, sparkling turquoise waters, and warm seas – it’s no wonder The Bahamas is internationally recognized as a prime beach destination. Whether you prefer snorkeling, swimming, sailing, or just basking in the sun, Nassau Paradise Island is the perfect place for beach lovers.

Ruth has visited Nassau Paradise Island three times, most recently staying at Sandals Royal Bahamian, and she has nothing but praise for the beaches of The Bahamas.

“The water is the most brilliant blue-green I have ever seen!” Ruth recalls. “Pictures don’t do it justice.”

Ruth says she enjoyed starting every day of her vacation on the beach. “I liked getting up early to see the sun rise every day and taking a walk on the beach, then coming back after breakfast to spend the morning there.”

A Nassau Paradise Island beach vacation is just the thing to help you feel relaxed and rejuvenated, according to Ruth. “It’s a great place to go when you just want to escape and truly relax. No worries or cares.” She adds that the staff at Sandals provided terrific service enabling Ruth and her husband to fully unwind during their vacation without having to lift a finger.

In addition to spending time on Nassau Paradise Island’s beautiful beaches, Ruth also recommends that everyone “check out downtown Nassau and try the seafood! Freshest and most delicious seafood you’ll find anywhere.”
