It’s Better in the Bahamas – Valerie’s Beach Bliss

Walking along the beach in Nassau Paradise Island

Stunning beaches, memorable activities, and world class restaurants. Nassau Paradise Island is the perfect place for a couples vacation in the Caribbean! Just ask Valerie and her fiancé. They visited Nassau Paradise Island for a getaway last fall and loved everything about their Bahamas trip. “Everyone is so friendly and welcoming,” says Valerie.

The couple stayed at the Comfort Suites Paradise Island. As guests of Comfort Suites, they received complimentary access to Atlantis Resort, including the 141-acre Aquaventure at Atlantis waterpark, which Valerie says was “fun.”

One of her other favorite activities was simply “hanging out on the beach,” and we can’t blame her! Warm, clear water and soft, white sand make the beaches of The Bahamas some of the most beautiful to visit.

“I loved being at the beach and shopping for souvenirs,” Valerie tells us. From unique local galleries to the shops of Bay Street to the infamous Straw Market, there are some fantastic places to find the perfect memento from your Bahamas vacation. (Check out our tips for choosing the perfect souvenir in The Bahamas!)

Valerie and her fiance also enjoyed the food they tried at local restaurants, saying, “All of the restaurants we went to were excellent.” One of the best things about Nassau Paradise Island is whether you’re looking for a relaxed beachside meal or an elegant evening fit for a special occasion, there’s no shortage of dining options for you to choose from.

Valerie is planning on coming back in February 2017 for a second couples getaway on Paradise Island. “I love The Bahamas! “ she says, and we agree! Have you ever visited Nassau Paradise Island with a loved one? Or enjoyed your Bahamas vacation so much you planned a return trip? Tell us about it! We love hearing your stories, and your Bahamas Experience could be featured on our blog.
