Taking place January 25-31 at Ocean Club on Paradise Island, the tournament is bringing together some of the top female golfers in the world – including last year’s winner, Sei Young Kim – to compete for $1.3 million in prizes. World-class golf, a challenging championship course on the ocean, and all the delights of Nassau Paradise Island – it’s an event not to be missed. And best of all, it’s completely free to attend! No tickets are required for this event.

If you’ll be in Nassau Paradise Island during the tournament, be sure to stop by Ocean Club to take in some of the action. The tournament kicks off at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 28, with play continuing on Friday, January 29 and Saturday, January 30. Play wraps up on Sunday at approximately 5:00 p.m. with a closing ceremony at the 18th hole green. For fans watching from home, the tournament will be televised on the Golf Channel throughout the event.

Designed by Tom Weiskopf, who has created more than 30 stunning golf courses around the world, Ocean Club is an 18-hole, par 72 championship course stretching more than 7,100 yards in length on a peninsula in Paradise Island. It has received plenty of praise and accolades, including being named among Golf Week’s best Caribbean and Mexico courses and one of the top Island golf courses by Links Magazine. Ocean Club has hosted the Pure Silk Bahamas LPGA Classic each year since 2013, and is a favorite course of celebrities such as Michael Jordan.

If the LPGA Pure Silk Bahamas inspires you to improve your own golf game, check out the Ocean Club Golf Academy. Sign up for a private lesson of one, two, or three hours and work with a golf pro to improve your skills, swing, and score. Youth aged 17 and under can also sign up for private lessons.
