Founded by Alpharita Constantia Anderson, better known as Rita Marley - the widow of the late Bob Marley opened the doors of Marley Resort & Spa and now welcomes guests into the lives of the Marley family. Located on a secluded strip on Cable Beach and away from the hustle and bustle of Nassau, this boutique resort is a unique experience filled with art, history and spiritual sensibility.

Once a governor’s house, the Marley Resort is an elegant combination of African and Caribbean style with hand-carved sculptured doors, mosaic tiles, intricate stonework and limestone walls. Inspired by music, memory and the family’s Afro-Caribbean heritage, each room welcomes guests with a soothing signature aroma and soft reggae music.

Each of the luxurious 16 rooms and suites are infused with Marley Family music and uniquely themed and designed around Marley songs, including One Love, the romantic honeymoon suite; Jammin’, combining the influence of Moroccan designs and the idyllic traditions of the Caribbean; and Three Little Birds, ideal for families and decorated in hues of yellows, blues and oranges.

In between waking up to the sound of the ocean and spending afternoons in the sun, explore the life and music of the Marley family in the Music Gallery, featuring rare photos, interviews and gold awards. The Natural Mystic Spa offers remedies and traditional secrets of Africa, Asia and the Caribbean and the resort’s restaurant serves some of Bob’s old favorite recipes. When it’s time to leave, drop by the Marley Boutique and bring a piece of Marley history back home with you.

Simmer Down, the resort’s restaurant, offers a menu of gourmet Caribbean cuisine with some of Bob’s favorites as well as other classic family recipes. Organic produce and fresh seafood play host here, where diners have the option of sitting on the beachfront patio, interior dining room, or in the courtyard where a stage hosts live entertainment.

Spa & Fitness
Natural Mystic, the on-site boutique spa, fuses remedies and traditional secrets from Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean, as well as Rita Marley's herbal bath rituals. An aroma steam room is featured for the ultimate in renewal. A host of services include herbal body scrubs and wraps, nail care, and hot and cold plunges.

For the fitness conscious, the Marley Resort & Spa has partnered with Bally Total Fitness providing guests with free gym access, only a five-minute walk from the resort. Golf, tennis and racquetball aficionados are welcome to the nearby sports facilities.
