Increased Non-Stop Service From Chicago to Nassau Paradise Island, Bahamas
Increased Airlift Offered by United Airlines Between Chicago O’Hare International Airport and Lynden Pindling International Airport
August, 2013 – Travelers from the Midwest will soon be able to enjoy easier and more convenient access to sugar-white sand beaches and turquoise blue waters with increased air service to Nassau Paradise Island from Chicago. United Express, will be launching additional nonstop flights from Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) to Nassau’s Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS). Skywest Airlines will operate this flight using Canadair Regional jet aircraft with 70 seats (6 in United First Class, 16 in Economy Plus and 48 in Economy Class).
Beginning December 19, 2013, United Express flight 5494 will depart Chicago O’Hare at 8:55am, arriving in Nassau at 1:07pm every Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. The return flight will operate on these same days via flight 5495 departing Nassau at 1:53pm, arriving to Chicago O’Hare at 4:20pm. This service is currently offered every Saturday.
