It was so nice to arrive and know that everything was taken care of.”
Packing efficiently is integral to saving you time, money, and stress on your holiday. Make an Itinerary
Once you know your travel style, sit down and plan out your time in paradise. A good rule of thumb is to schedule one or two must-do activities every day, keeping the rest of the day flexible. You are on vacation, after all!
A former guest, Lee suggests snorkeling while in Nassau Paradise Island. “The water is so beautiful and it’s such a relaxing activity. If you are comfortable in the water I highly recommend it!”

Don’t Miss Day Passes
Nassau Paradise Island day passes make it easy to explore some of the island’s best hotel and resort attractions. You can spend a day at one of the famous Sandals resorts, experience the legendary glamor of the British Colonial Hilton, discover the wonders of Atlantis Paradise Island, soak up the sun on the beach at Melia Nassau Beach All-Inclusive, and so much more.
Like many visitors, a visit to Aquaventure was on the top of Catherine‘s list. While there she suggests booking a cabana by the pool for the “convenience of having a hot and cold shower, TV and, best of all, room for friends.”
Try Something New
A once in a lifetime experience is around every corner in Nassau Paradise Island. Whether you are coming face to face with sharks, deep-sea diving, or setting sail to sea, you won’t regret having a new experience in Nassau Paradise Island.
In Debora’s opinion, “Powerboat Adventures is definitely something you must do at least once.” And she’s not the only one who thinks so. “It was quite the experience,” Jacey recalls. “We fed iguanas, then saw the sharks and fed a stingray. I would recommend that day trip to everyone.”
Have A Bahamian Experience
One of the best things about traveling is experiencing local culture and The Bahamas is no exception. With a rich history and a cultural spirit unlike anywhere else in the Caribbean, Nassau Paradise Island is a perfect place to explore—especially with a tour. Charlotte took part in the Tru Bahamian Food Tour, saying it was a “great way to learn about the history of The Bahamas and sample some delicious foods we might not otherwise get the chance to try. (It’s) perfect for adults and kids would probably enjoy it too.”
For even more flavors of the island, Andrea says to “head downtown to Bay Street for amazing authentic Bahamian food.” While Nadia loves the Fish Fry at Arawak Cay, where “the servers were so friendly and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced for big portions.”
Ask The Locals
People in The Bahamas are known for their friendly disposition and love interacting with travelers, so a great way to discover Nassau Paradise Island is to ask locals for suggestions. When Tricia visited the island, she really appreciated that the “staff made recommendations and helped me navigate my stay.” Gabrielle and her husband also loved chatting with friendly locals, having “many great conversations from those experiences.”
Document Your Trip
In Nassau Paradise Island, it’s not hard to make memories to last a lifetime. But a tip one guest Kerrigan has for others: “Clear your phone before you go. We took so many pictures we ran out of storage!” After all, you don’t want to miss out on a chance to preserve your vacation memories.
With all of these tips and tricks, you’re more than ready to plan your vacation to paradise. Which brings us to the last, and arguably most important, piece of advice, which comes from a visitor named Angela. “If you have been thinking about (traveling to The Bahamas) – GO!”
