AQUAVENTURE

The unprecedented 141-acre waterscape, Aquaventure is the centerpiece of Atlantis' recent billion-dollar development. This addition positions Atlantis as one of the largest water-themed attractions in the world, containing over 20 million gallons of water, 20 swimming areas and 11 pools including 3 kiddie pools. This non-stop water experience, consists of thrilling water slides, a mile-long river ride with high intensity rapids and wave surges, and never-before-seen special effects that add an extreme level of excitement to the overall experience, delivering a sensory journey unlike any other.

Aquaventure adds first-of-its-kind special effects and technology to its water slides and river rides, bringing them together in a lush, tropical environment that is both immersive and interconnected. Once guests are situated in their inner tubes, they are propelled along by water "escalators", waves, water surges and master blaster technology. Unlike traditional water slides that require the participant to leave the water and climb back to the start, at Aquaventure guests never have to leave the water as they are propelled back up the slide tower via water conveyors.

The Power Tower

With imagination and innovation that is unique to Atlantis, the 120-foot tall Power Tower with exhilarating slides, rivers and pools will deliver a sensory journey unlike any other.  There are four slides and a not-so-lazy river ride to experience.  Are you brave enough to take on "The Abyss"?  This 200-foot body-slide sends you plunging 50-feet into an alligator lagoon!  If you're not ready for that, try "The Drop", "The Falls" or "The Surge" which is at the top of the Power Tower and is like a waterslide roller coaster of twists and turns.  For the less adventurous try "The Current" which pushes you along with 4-foot waves on a mile-long journey through lush, tropical foliage in your inner-tube.  The Power Tower offers you never seen before thrills and adventure.

The Mayan Temple

Just beyond the Royal Towers lies the towering six-story Mayan Temple with its four water slides and a Lazy River Ride.  Plunge down almost vertical drops and into a shark filled lagoon or slide through exotic jungles and caves in the heart of the Temple.  For a tranquil, relaxing ride float along the quarter-mile lazy river.

Climber's Rush

Climber's Rush is a state of the art climbing facility with 12 climbing surfaces located. Guests have a variety of options and difficulties to choose from, including a one time climb, an hour of instructional teaching, or group clinics with a focus on teamwork and communication.

Kids Pools

Little kids can enjoy two kiddie pools, Poseidens and Ripples and their own waterpark within a waterpark, Splashers.  A kids only adventure water playground featuring slides, waterfalls and fountains surrounded by comfortable lounge chairs for parents to relax nearby.
