Dolphin Cay Atlantis, an extraordinary, 14-acre dolphin habitat is one of the largest and most sophisticated of its kind in the world. A place where swimming with dolphins has been redefined. Whether you share in their playful shallow water antics or experience their speed and agility first-hand in the deeper waters, the dolphins of Atlantis welcome you to share in their fun.

Atlantis Shallow Water Interaction

Wade into the waters of one of the world's newest and largest dolphin habitats, where you'll touch, hug and even kiss your new dolphin friends. Then watch as they show off their playful side through thrilling jumps and flips.

Limited to just 10 guests, this intimate interaction begins with an orientation and includes 30 minutes in the water. Wetsuits, personal lockers, beach towels, and non-alcoholic refreshments are provided, along with all-day access to Dolphin Cay's private beach.

This family favorite is open to guests of all ages and swimming abilities.

Atlantis Deep Water Swim

deep-water-swimSnorkel, glide, and swim alongside dolphins with your very own water scooter. Then experience an unforgettable thrill as dolphins race you across the lagoon during our signature "foot push" ride.

This unforgettable interaction begins with an orientation and includes 30 minutes in the deep water lagoon. Wetsuits, personal lockers, beach towels, and non-alcoholic refreshments are provided, along with all-day access to Dolphin Cay’s private beach.

Participants must be at least 10 years of age and be able to swim in deep water without support vests or assistance.

Trainer for a Day Program

trainer fo a daySpend the day with a Marine Mammal Specialist.  During this unforgettable 6-hour experience, you’ll feed, train, care for and interact with these amazing animals, plus enjoy a deep water swim with them in their 14-acre habitat.  The Trainer for a Day program also allows you to observe the dolphins’ unique behaviour and enjoy a backstage tour of our world-class facilities to learn the basics of animal care and food preparation.  Snorkel gear, wetsuit, non-alcoholic refreshments and lunch with a Marine Mammal Specialist are included in your adventure.  Participants must be 10 years or older, good swimmers and in good physical condition.

Sea Lion Interaction and Behind the Scenes

Sea Lion InteractionMeet and greet playful and curious California Sea Lions in waist deep water.  Shake hands, get a hug and even a kiss!   Explore the first dedicated rescue and rehabilitation facility in the Bahamas.  Go Behind the Scenes for an educational look at how we feed and care for fish, turtles and other sea animals.  Plus, you’ll visit our animal hospital and rescue center— the largest in the Caribbean.

Aquarist

fish-hospitalThis adventure allows you to join our sea keeper staff of marine experts for an exciting behind the scenes tour of our marine habitats.  Snorkel alongside rays, tropical fish and even sharks in the mythic ruins of Atlantis.  Hand feed our stingrays, learn he basics of animal care, food preparation, water testing and behavioral observation. Participants must be 13 years or older. 

 

Observer Program

On the secluded white sand beaches at Dolphin Cay, you can lounge the day away as dolphins jump and play just a few feet from you. This exclusive day pass includes beach-side service and complimentary non-alcoholic beverages.

You can also take part in our dolphin orientation program, designed to familiarize guests with the Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins of Atlantis—and prepare them for the thrill ahead.

Passes to this private beach are reserved for family and friends of those participating in dolphin interactions, giving you a front row seat to the fun of Dolphin Cay. The Observer beach pass is open to guests of all ages. Reservations are recommended.

Education Center

Whether you’re interested in learning more about the dolphins you can swim with at Dolphin Cay or just want the fun to last a little longer, our interactive Education Center is worth the visit.

Here you’ll find electronic stations where you can read about our dolphins rescued from Hurricane Katrina, or learn more about dolphins in the wild and what you can do to help protect them.

A portion of the proceeds from Dolphin Cay interactions and retail purchases benefit marine conservation and research through the not-for-profit Kerzner Marine Foundation.
