If you are not familiar with diving, we offer OPEN WATER CERTIFICATION. This is the initial certification course for all divers. Included in this program are academic presentations, confined water (pool or shallow ocean) sessions where you learn the skills and techniques of diving, and finally, actual boat diving in the open waters of the crystal clear Bahamian waters. An afternoon 2-tank dive is generally in the more shallow waters. A morning 2-tank dive caters to our certified divers who want to explore the walls, reefs, and wrecks surrounding New Providence Island. If that’s not enough diving, there is an all-day dive and even a night dive. Advanced Diver Certification The core curriculum of this course is a Deep Dive and a Navigation Dive. From there, divers will be able to choose three elective dives in order to complete the five dives required for this certification. Snorkel Adventure - Snorkel the South-Western side of New Providence Island along pristine coral reefs teeming with tropical fish. Enjoy up to three locations including reefs, wrecks and if conditions are right and your fellow snorkelers are up to it, snorkel with Caribbean Reef Sharks! Bubble Sub Excursion. Think of a self-contained underwater motorcycle with a large two foot clear dome keeping your head perfectly dry throughout your ride around the underwater reefs. Your personal sub unit is propelled by a small battery operated engine that you have full control over. Your steering console allows you to direct the unit left and right. It also contains your power switch. Your ascents and descents are controlled by the safety divers who slowly take you up and down a control line. There is also a buoy that is tethered to your sub. This prevents you from descending deeper than the planned 15-20 foot dive. Call 800-879-9832 or Visit www.Stuartcove.com Phone: 800-879-9832 |
