    Graycliff Wine Luncheons

    At noon each weekday, the Graycliff hosts a Wine Luncheon, where you will be welcomed with a glass of champagne and led by Graycliff’s Sommeliers for a tasting and a tour of the hotel and restaurant’s acclaimed wine collection. You’ll then be treated to a five-course gourmet repast paired with the appropriate wines. With a menu that changes daily and seasonally, these wine luncheons offer some of the freshest regional dining in The Bahamas.

    The term Churrascaria (pronounced choo-rah-scah-ree-ah) dates back to the early 1800’s and refers to the Brazilian barbecue method of grilling, cutting and serving meats such as chicken, pork, beef, lamb and more. At Graycliff’s Humidor Churrascaria, you’ll enjoy unlimited offerings of decadently seasoned meats precisely cut and served tableside alongside a banquet-style buffet of tantalizing dishes, ranging from simple salads and bean dishes to savory vegetables, fresh fish and Brazilian specialties. 
This is a meat lover’s restaurant that even vegetarians will love.

    The Humidor Piazza

    The Humidor Piazza incorporates the Humidor Churrascaria Brazilian Steakhouse, with Giotto Pizzeria and The Beer Garden. Humidor Churrascaria offers traditional Brazilian churrasco, while Giotto Pizzeria serves traditional Italian thin-crust pizzas baked in a wood-brick oven and The Beer Garden serves casual fare, small bites and a selection of wines by the glass and a vast selection of beers from around the world. When dining at the Humidor Piazza, you can choose from the menu of each restaurant and mix and match choices for your perfect gastronomic combination.

  • Graycliff Culinary Academy

    For aspiring chefs and foodies alike, the Graycliff Culinary Academy offers a deliciously fun and interactive cooking class. Guests will learn some Bahamian culinary traditions, under the guidance of Executive Chef Elijah Bowe and his team right in the Graycliff kitchen. Guests will then taste their creations and discuss culinary ideas with the chef and sommelier. Lunch will consist of the dishes prepared during class including an appetizer, main course and dessert along with a glass of wine. A tour of the world-renowned wine cellar with the sommelier is also included. No prior cooking experience is necessary; however, an appointment is required to reserve a class.

    With an inventory of over 250,000 bottles from over 400 vintners in 15 countries, the world-renowned Graycliff Wine Cellar is a wine connoisseur’s dream, and it has won the prestigious Wine Spectator Grand Award every year since 1988. The inventory ranges from such wines as an 1865 Château Lafte to the oldest and one of the most expensive bottles in the world—a 1727 Rudesheimer Apostelwein, priced at $200,000—to today’s most popular vintages.

    The Cognateque is unique and a true collector’s gem, with a 9,000-bottle collection featuring incredibly rare bottles from Courvoisier, a Reserve of the founder with only 500 bottles ever made, and a selection from the collection of Erte, the French artist and designer—plus special years from Hardy, and museum pieces like Bottle #1, an 1893 from A.E. Dor. For the Cognac, Armangnac, Rum and other spirit lover in you, the Graycliff Cognateque also offers private tasting sessions.


    Graycliff Chocolatier is a tasty destination on the Graycliff Hotel’s historic grounds. As The Bahamas’ first interactive chocolate factory, it features a wide selection of hand-crafted chocolates of varied cocoa strengths, as well as a number of tours—from fully interactive experiences to delicious tasting tours to a fun and playful children’s tour with Captain Choco! Enjoy making your own chocolate masterpieces using fun ingredients.

    The Garzaroli Family founded The Graycliff Cigar Company when Enrico Garzaroli fell in love with cigars but was unable to find the perfect cigar to complement Graycliff’s excellent cuisine and fine wines. The Company began production in January 1997, and what then began as a single roller has now expanded to an award-winning boutique cigar company with 16 master rollers. Witness first-hand the torcedores at work, and take a cigar-rolling lesson with renowned expert craftsmen.


    With the restaurant’s certified Sommeliers in attendance, your senses will liven up as you taste the best cheeses from Italy, Spain, France, Australia, Argentina, and Chile. Then your palate sings and soars as the paired wine slowly blossoms in your mouth to create heavenly flavors that mere mortals only dream of! Well known to the old world as the nectar of the gods, wine has a rich and honored history and Graycliff’s cellar is home to some of the best. Graycliff’s Wine & Cheese Pairings adventure takes participants through a minimum of 8 wine tastings – four red and four white, each paired with cheeses from around the world – along with a tour of their famed wine cellar, topped off with a wine-themed souvenir for each participant.
