Graycliff Culinary Academy

For aspiring chefs and foodies alike, the Graycliff Culinary Academy offers you delectably fun and interactive cooking classes. You’ll learn the art of cooking in a variety of mouth-watering styles under the guidance of Graycliff’s five-star restaurant’s Executive Chef Elijah Bowe and his team. At the end of your delicious experience, you’ll receive copies of the recipes from class and even a Graycliff Culinary Academy apron, so you can recreate your culinary masterpieces at home!

The Culinary Culture

According to Enrico Garzaroli, Chairman and CEO of Graycliff, “Cuisine plays a huge role in Graycliff’s ambiance and experience.” And no wonder: Graycliff Restaurant is internationally renowned and the first certified five-star restaurant in The Bahamas. With menu selections ranging from conch chowder and foie gras with black truffles to rack of lamb for two—plus one of the largest private wine collections in the world—dining at Graycliff Restaurant is a must for any aficionado of food and drink

The Class

At the Graycliff Culinary Academy, you’ll prepare items from the famed Graycliff Restaurant menu such as Bahamian Conch Chowder, Grouper Dijonnaise, Guava Soufflé and more. Class sizes are limited from 6 to 12 students, and all ingredients and materials needed will be supplied. Even better, lunch is included—consisting of the dishes prepared during class! This experience will also include a tour of Graycliff’s world-renowned wine cellar with the sommelier. No prior cooking experience is necessary; however, an appointment is required to take a class.
