Celebrate the Holidays in Nassau Paradise Island

The holiday season is a wonderful time to visit Nassau Paradise Island. Trade your snowsuits for swimsuits, build a sandcastle instead of a snowman...there’s plenty of holiday spirit to go around! And no matter what your celebration style looks like–family-friendly fun, nonstop nightlife, or an authentic Bahamian holiday experience–you’ll be able to enjoy it during your vacation in Paradise. Read on for our guide to getting festive in The Bahamas!

Family-Friendly Holiday Activities

Young guests of Baha Mar can enjoy a sleigh full of holiday-themed activities from December 20 through January 5! Get creative with ornament-making classes, card-making workshops, and the Elves and Explorers Holiday Workshop. Children can bake with Mrs. Claus, pose for Bahamian-style holiday photos with Santa, and even participate in the “Santa Flamingle” at Flamingo Cay!

In the evenings, families can gather at Drift Pool and Bar for screenings of beloved holiday movies. For something entirely new, try “glice” skating–skating on an ice-like surface! Throughout the holiday season, there will be nightly glice performances at 7:30 and 10 p.m. For all the details, check out Baha Mar’s full holiday programming schedule

Atlantis, Paradise Island also features a full lineup of family-friendly festive fun, beginning December 22. Celebrate Hanukkah with the lighting of the menorah, starting on December 22 at 5:30 p.m. in The Royal Lobby. On December 23 and 24, Santa will be on hand to hang out with Atlantis’ young guests–join him for breakfast, crafting sessions, and special holiday photos. You can even arrange for Santa to tuck in your little ones at bedtime! Take a look at Santa’s schedule to plan your visit.
