Tru Tru Bahamian Festival

February 8 - 9, 2020

The 5th Annual Tru Tru Bahamian Festival will be back to celebrate all things Bahamian with a two-day event on the beautiful grounds of the John Watling’s Distillery, Saturday, February 8th and Sunday, February 9th, 2020.

Once again, the event will showcase the best of The Bahamas: delicious, authentically Bahamian food and drink, and an incredible array of Bahamian made products available for purchase.

The Festival will feature an array of talented Bahamian musicians, artisans, artists, and dancers, including The Royal Bahamas Police Force band, back to strut their stuff. There will be singing, dancing, storytelling, Maypole Plaiting, a Junkanoo Rush Out, a “Pop-Up” Junkanoo Shack, and a kids interactive corner with an “Ocean Creatures Touch Tank” featuring a plethora of indigenous creatures for kids to learn about!

Bahamas Culinary & Arts Festival

Baha Mar presents the inaugural Bahamas Culinary & Arts Festival. Changing of the Guard

A tradition since 1958, the Ceremony features the world-renowned Royal Bahamas Police Force Marching Band and Royal Bahamas Defense Force Guards.

It is held every other Friday throughout the year from 11:00-11:30am at Government House.

Creative Nassau Market

Marina Village at Atlantis Art Walk

Enjoy art, crafts and music by Bahamian artisans. Sample locally grown and made products.

2-10 pm at the Marina Village on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month through August.

People-to-People Tea Party

The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism sponsors a complimentary tea party at historic Government House in Nassau on the last Friday of each month from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m., January through May, October, and November.

Hosted by various prominent Bahamian women, you can enjoy local 'bush' teas, live music, view a fashion show by Bahamian designers, and sample locally-made sandwiches and pastries.
