Battle for Atlantis

November 27 - 29, 2019

The 2019 Bad Boy Mowers Battle 4 Atlantis, in its ninth year of elite collegiate tournament play, will include UNC, Oregon, Michigan, Gonzaga, Iowa State, Seton Hall, Alabama and Southern Miss this year. The 12-game, three-day tournament over the Thanksgiving holiday is regarded as one of the most challenging early-season tournaments.

16th Annual Bahamas International Film Festival

The Bahamas International Film Festival is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing the local Bahamian community and international visitors with a diverse presentation of films from around the world. BIFF also provides unique cultural experiences, educational programs, and forums for exploring the past, present, and future of cinema. This year's festival will be held at venues throughout Baha Mar.

Changing of the Guard

A tradition since 1958, the Ceremony features the world-renowned Royal Bahamas Police Force Marching Band and Royal Bahamas Defense Force Guards.

It is held every other Friday throughout the year from 11:00-11:30am at Government House.

People-to-People Tea Party

The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism sponsors a complimentary tea party at historic Government House in Nassau on the last Friday of each month from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m., January through May, October, and November.

Hosted by various prominent Bahamian women, you can enjoy local 'bush' teas, live music, view a fashion show by Bahamian designers, and sample locally-made sandwiches and pastries.
