There’s nothing like a tropical vacation or the adventure of discovering a new destination to bring you and your loved one closer together. Reconnect with your significant other by taking the time for a romantic weekend escape. With everything from intimate dining experiences, secluded beaches, a touch of adventure, and the beauty of the lush nature that surrounds you, a couples getaway is simply better in The Bahamas.

Convenient nonstop flights from many major cities, and an enviable selection of adults-only and all-inclusive accommodation options make it easier than ever to plan a romantic weekend escape! And our itinerary for the perfect romantic weekend escape makes it as simple as a Bahamas breeze to plan a getaway that your beloved will adore.

Day One

A couple enjoys the warm, turquoise

Once you’ve checked into your hotel, head out to soak in the golden Bahamas sun at one of our beautiful beaches. Many of our hotels and resorts are located steps from the beach, so you won’t have to go far! Spend a few hours relaxing and settling into vacation mode by lounging on the beach, strolling pristine shoreline and frolicking in our warm, turquoise waters.

In the afternoon, get to know Nassau with one of our unique Bahamas tours. If the two of you are foodies, taste your way through town with Tru Bahamian Food Tours, or make your very own indulgent chocolate treats at Graycliff Chocolatier. To add a bit of mixology to your vacation, visit John Watling’s Distillery for an estate tour and rum tasting.

After a day soaking up the sun, get ready to heat up the night! There are plenty of options for a romantic dinner for two. Dine steps from the beach and watch the sun go down over creative cocktails and award-winning cuisine at The Dune.

Day Two

A couple snorkels in the crystal clear waters of Nassau Paradise Island

Spend the morning in your own private paradise with a private boat excursion to Rose Island. What could be more romantic than having a tropical island all to yourselves? Try your hand at snorkelling off shore, exploring the island, or even fishing.

After you’ve returned from your island paradise, treat yourselves to a wine luncheon at Graycliff Restaurant. We promise, you won’t regret it! Graycliff was one of the first restaurants in the Caribbean to be awarded 5 stars, and a wine cellar with over 250,000 bottles!

After a luxurious lunch, spend the afternoon together relaxing by one of Nassau’s must-swim pools, or heading back to the beach to rest up for a big night out!

Enjoy a delicious meal at one Marina Village’s restaurants and then spend some time with Lady Luck at one of the Caribbean’s largest casinos at Atlantis, Paradise Island.

Day Three

A couple enjoys a soothing beachside massage at Sandals Royal Bahamian, Nassau Bahamas

Make your last day in Paradise all about luxury and indulgence. Start with breakfast in bed from your hotel or resort’s room service menu or onsite dining options.

Make sure you and your love leave your weekend in Paradise feeling truly relaxed with a trip to one of Nassau’s luxurious spas. Unwind with the signature Scents of Love Couples Massage at the Red Lane Spa at Sandals Royal Bahamian or experience the breezes of the Bahamian beaches in a brand new way with an Alfresco Massage at the Mandara Spa at Atlantis.

You can’t leave The Bahamas without trying some conch! Visitors and locals alike love Arawak Cay for its fresh conch salad, conch fritters, and other authentic Bahamian dishes. “The Fish Fry”, as it’s commonly known, is the perfect opportunity to soak up the last bit of Paradise before heading home.

After a romantic weekend escape to Nassau Paradise Island, you’re sure to leave feeling more in love with each other, and in love with The Bahamas, too! Start planning your getaway.
