The Nassau & Paradise Island Promotion Board welcomes a new piece of public art at Atlantis Paradise Island created in partnership with international street artist and renowned Bahamian artist.

Nassau, June 23, 2025 – Last week, the Nassau & Paradise Island Promotion Board welcomed a brand new mural at one of its partner properties, Atlantis Paradise Island, created by international street artist Kelsey Montague and renowned Bahamian artist Allan Wallace. The brightly colored mural serves as an interactive photo opportunity for visitors to the destination, showcasing the vibrant spirit of the islands.

Montague and Wallace worked together to create a design for the mural that incorporates bright colors reflective of the vibrant costumes that can be seen at Junkanoo, the array of sea life and coral that can be found in the Bahamian waters and interactive elements that allow for outstanding photo opportunities. Bringing together Montague and Wallace’s unique artistic styles to create a cohesive mural reflects the intermingling of locals and visitors that makes up the one-of-a-kind essence of Nassau & Paradise Island.

Nassau & Paradise Island Promotion Board CEO Joy Jibrilu said, “We are overjoyed to have a new piece of public art at Atlantis Paradise Island, showcasing the unique spirit of our destination. It is an honor to have two exceptional artists—Allan Wallace, representing the heart of Bahamian creativity, and Kelsey Montague, bringing her internationally recognized style—join forces on a piece that speaks to the vibrant culture of our people and the beauty of these islands.  Their combined vision has resulted in something truly special, and we know it will leave a lasting impression on all who see it.”

President and Managing Director of Atlantis Paradise Island, Bahamas Audrey Oswell said, "Art has been woven into the DNA of Atlantis Paradise Island since its inception. From the large-scale works of Antonius Roberts' Sacred Space and Heart Swing, to the "live art' marine landscapes by Jamaal Rolle, and the architectural vision of Jackson Burnside- the designer and artist involved in the making of Marina Village- Atlantis continues to celebrate Bahamian creativity and culture through visual storytelling. It has been such a pleasure to work with Kelsey and Allan as they have brought this mural to life at Atlantis, and we can’t wait to see how our visitors interact with this stunning visual landmark.”

Artist Kelsey Montague said, “It is an honor to create my first joint mural with Allan Wallace. His work is stunning, emotive and powerful. Getting to work on this piece with him while also creating for my dream client- Atlantis Paradise Island - is going to be a highlight of my career. To me Atlantis has always represented the imagination embodied and Paradise Island serves as a beautiful setting for the mural.”

Artist Allan Wallace said, Artist Allan Wallace said, “I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to work next to the amazing Kelsey Montague – her work speaks for itself with beauty, energy and an indescribable light that all artists hope to attain. I can’t thank the Nassau & Paradise Island Promotion Board enough for making this mural project possible and for always being a step ahead in providing a stage for art culture.”

The mural comes on the heels of the promotion board’s new brand campaign, showcasing the “& More” aspects of the destination, which highlights the broad variety of activities and cultural experiences that visitors can explore beyond the beaches in Nassau & Paradise Island. With the campaign placing a special emphasis on the local culture and authentic island life, the collaboration between a renowned international artist and a local Bahamian for the creation of the mural further solidifies the promotion board’s commitment to showcasing the individuality of Nassau & Paradise Island.
