Savor Old Nassau Sunday Dining Stroll

Stroll, savor, and sip your way through historic Nassau on this one-of-a-kind dining tour by Tru Bahamian Food Tours. Spend your Sunday afternoon enjoying three specialty food and drink pairings as you leisurely taste and sip your way through charming Old Nassau on a two-hour progressive dining adventure.

To start your cultural dining journey off right, you’ll walk to local hot spot Talking Stick Bar & Restaurant where you’ll be treated to a traditional full Bahamian Sunday lunch, featuring classic Bahamian dishes like peas n’ rice, fried plantains, macaroni and cheese, and conch fritters. And, because no Sunday brunch is complete without a little decadence, you’ll also get to taste classic Bahamian cocktails like Planter’s Punch and Bahama Mama—and learn how to make them from one of Nassau’s top mixologists.

Next, you have the luxury of dining in one of downtown Nassau’s most historic estates and only five-star restaurant, Graycliff Hotel & Restaurant. Their conch chowder is legendary and after one sip, we think you’ll see why.

Finally, cap the afternoon off with something sweet. Taste wines from Nassau Paradise Island’s first and only winery, Bahama Barrels Winery, paired perfectly with artisanal local chocolates.

You’ll leave your Savor Old Nassau Dining Stroll filled with the delicious flavors of classic Bahamian cuisine, a new appreciation of Bahamas cocktails and wine, a newfound knowledge of Nassau’s rich history, as well as a collection of recipes and Nassau Dining Guide to take home!

This tour runs on Sundays only, starting at 11:30 AM. It’s the perfect thing to do on Sunday in Nassau, whether you’re visiting for the weekend, or just the day.
